NORTH WILDWOOD, NJ (Aug. 1, 2018) – “Mr. Saturday Night,” BOB PANTANO, the Delaware Valley’s #1 Rated Saturday Night Radio Host, moves into brand new Wildwood digs this weekend and every Sunday night for the rest of the summer, as host of the legendary Bob Pantano Dance Party at Wildwood’s newest entertainment complex, the newly opened 60,000-foot Seaport Pier in North Wildwood.

Pantano launches his SUNDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY at Seaport Pier, 22nd Street & the Boardwalk, North Wildwood, THIS SUNDAY (Aug. 5). The Party starts each and every Sunday night at 6 p.m. with Bob Pantano and DJ Eric Bartello. (Bartello also will be hosting a Dance Party at Seaport Pier on Saturday Nights). More info at

“It’s the most spectacular new venue in all of the Wildwoods,” says Pantano. “It’s state-of-the-art entertainment, with a huge dance floor, huge bars, and a live concert stage … and it’s right on the Boardwalk overlooking the ocean. In all my years, I’ve never seen anything like this anywhere in Wildwood.”

The massive pier complex has been bringing shoregoers an entirely different experience since its opening earlier this summer. Seaport Pier features several bars and restaurants, direct access to the beach, and a large 40-by 80-foot pool in an exclusive area reserved for members. Adding the legendary Bob Pantano Dance Party to the mix every Sunday instantly elevates the pier’s recognition factor to a whole new level.

Seaport Pier is where all the action is on the North Wildwood Boardwalk – especially on Sunday Nights!

The Bob Pantano Dance Party has been doubling down throughout the Jersey Shore all summer to reach the beaches from Atlantic City to Wildwood with TWO versions of the legendary Bob Pantano Dance Party. The FRIDAY NIGHT DANCE PARTY continues each week at Johnny’s Café & Lounge, 9407 Ventnor Ave., in Margate for the season. That Party starts each and every Friday night at 8 p.m. More info at 609.822.1789 or

Already a fixture on Jersey Shore radio each week throughout the year simulcasting his legendary Saturday Night Dance Party broadcast on 96.1 WTTH Atlantic City and 93.1 WEZW Wildwood, live from the Adelphia Restaurant and Nightclub in Deptford, The Bob Pantano Dance Party was born in Wildwood in1973 at Phil and Eddie’s Surf Club. It moved to the Oasis Club, and the Fairview and in 1976, launched the first discotheque in Wildwood at the Mansion on Garfield Avenue. Pantano celebrated role in Wildwood’s music history was memorialized when he was added to the Avenue of the Stars along Pacific Avenue, where inductees who have helped build the Wildwoods as an “Entertainment Capital” of the East Coast are permanently honored.

Pantano remains #1 in his time slot “across the board” in the overall ratings as well and every age demographic, including the all-important 25-54 in the latest Neilsen ratings book. Indeed, Mr. Saturday Night is the King of Saturday Night among Delaware Valley radio listeners.

Now celebrating his 41st anniversary hosting his Dance Party live broadcast, Pantano was just selected by StarVista LIVE as the only DJ in the country to be the Music Host on its inaugural “Ultimate Disco Cruise” in February 2019 starring a stellar array of classic disco superstars such as KC & the Sunshine Band, Kool & the Gang, Gloria Gaynor, the Spinners and much more – many of whose records Pantano original “broke” worldwide in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s. Pantano was honored last fall with a bronze plaque along the Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk of Fame. It’s the latest in a series of major career honors, including the Broadcast Pioneers’ 2015 Person of The Year, the Phillies’ Gamble & Huff Community Partnership Award, the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame, the Temple University School of Communications and Theater Hall of Fame, and a sidewalk plaque on the Wildwood Avenue of the Stars.

Earlier in 2018, Pantano also launched the weekly “Friday Night Live On Today’s 96.5,” broadcast LIVE each week from the Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, NJ, home to the legendary “Saturday Night Dance Party.”

The Saturday Night Dance Party is an award-winning Philadelphia tradition broadcast LIVE that originates on 98.1 WOGL and is hosted by the man who pioneered the Live Radio Dance Party in Philadelphia … Bob Pantano.

Pantano started spinning at record hops in the late ‘60s and then nightclubs in the ’70s, before taking the show to the airwaves in 1977 on 98.1 WCAU FM “Fascinatin’ Rhythm.” Over the decades, well over a million Delaware Valley residents remember dancing, meeting, and even falling in love to that special mix for which The Saturday Night Dance Party is so well known. Pantano plays great uplifting dance music – a unique blend of Motown, ‘60s Soul, and the Dance Club Classics of the ‘70s and ‘80s – custom tailored for Delaware Valley listeners.
